Now - I think I can say reasonably surely 9without being too presumptuous) that 'Real World' Sith find 'Roleplayer' Sith as much unwelcome bedfellows as 'Real World' Jedi find 'Roleplayer' Jedi - the simple and unfortunate fact of the matter for both our communities is that we will always (or at least for the foreseeable future) attract 'the wrong' audience - and such folk dont help our mutual credibility cause - those who know me know my feeling that a follower of the force is a jedi - but as said - this is venturing down the rocky potholed road of names and labels.

Exactly the one place left i consider to be a home for real Sithist have dropped the name, the sithist cabal now just the cabal were sick of the association of role players comming in with a view that would become star wars sith.
With regards to some comments regarding selfishness and abuse of the world around them, Iam a member of the cabal iam a former pre school teacher adult education teacher and young adult worker I serve my community and help people daily. Yet i follow what some would say is a dark path, the cabal is more about learning about yourself, embracing all tennants of yourself to better enter the world around you, by understanding how the source/force effect yourself to understand how it effect others. There is no abuse here no \"Dark\" intent it is at its heart a philosophy that focuses inwards before looking outwards, perhaps many here would not consider the cabal all that dark, but if any here know of Seti I Shadmin and Salome know that the ideas disscussed and philosophy discussed, are nothing like an a front to evil or cause people to act as if they were ashamed. There seems (no offense here to anyone) to be a real lack of understanding on what real sithists or as many prefer now Source realists, believe or discuss it is certainly a million miles away from those of mythos the role players and some of the ideas some have. However it has been a while since i have had a chance to discuss and debate and so so enjoy it, and although the 5th rite may have failed on this site, if you were to view the cabal as a guest i think many may be surprised at how much you have in common, and even if you don't i hope this opinion gives you some insight into the reality of real Source realists (sithists) and help you see the difference between the posers and rpg'ers. Just pointing out that the 5th Rite was an experiment in exploring so-called \"dark side\" things within the context of Jediism. This has now been superceded by the Dark Order, which will be up-and-running soon and will (amongst other things) allow Jedi to study aspects previously left aside and labelled \"Sith\". Although I'm sure that Fr.Jon can enlighten us further

Thank you Master Mark! Indeed I am working on this right now. Slowly but surely. It is a seperate but very much a \"darker\" sister site to TOTJO. As we do not teach anything on Sith here at TOTJO, the dark side remains very much part of life however and all attempts to run a 5th Rite failed in strife we are now setting up this site \"The Dark Order\". TDO offers an advanced course available to Jedi Knights (which will count also to degree studies) and those who feel called to be Sith and have not found their place at TOTJO. This fall very much into the multi faith aspect of TOTJO.

That is one thing I'd like to see. The old TOTS and even UJSO were rather closed off places to those wishing to understand the path of the dark side. I hope TDO will not follow that example.

Thank you for interest. How things will turn out is a good question, as always something unexpected seems to happen. But my thoughts and intentions are that TDO will be primarily for the TOTJO membership (complimentary training)and for those who feel called to the Dark path (and wish to be trained)yet wish to participate at TOTJO. You could describe it as a Rite in its own right. All TOTJO registered members will be able to register there, be able to read and participate in non training training areas. Guests will only be able to view non traing areas. TOTJO Jedi Knights will be able to also enter the training areas. Unfortunately TDO remains in various ways exclusive, as there seems to be no path more missunderstood than the Dark one. It is not only very much missinterpreted but seems to attract nut cases like flies to a light. I wish to preserve a healthy, safe, informative and communicative atmosphere. But also I am open to new ideas.

That is ok Xan. I am also open to discussion and suggestions. I am alone on this, and even if I do have a concept it is quite daunting.
