This conversation, luckily for me, has brought me to a point I make in many of my discussions.

True, no one can say that there is a \"right\" or \"wrong\" way to live. It is up to the individual.

What I ask is, what kinda of person do you truly want to be anyways?

Does not your heart rejoice at the happiness of others? True there is conflict, but do not most people feel the need to enter the conflict, only to end it? So peace and prosperity may return?

Yes, there are those who love what we would consider 'negative' emotions. All people are on a wide spectrum.

Where do you want to be on that spectrum?

Very true words A.L.M. In the past month or so there has been some very trying times for me. While I have not come to a fully clear mind (no mind ) the discussions here coupled with the work of the buddhist rite have shaken my consciousness from it's funk. In searching for the answers to the questions and thoughts presented, the gap between shadow state and the light side has become somewhat less, that many of my concerns are not as important as they seemed a couple of weeks ago.

By the way, I was going to include the link to The Great Jedi Holocron with my earlier post, but the link to the Academy at Ashla is down. I do have a pdf copy if anyone is interested. It's a little over 11 meg. Pm me with an email address if interested. If we would like it for our library I don't see a problem, many sites do have it.

Master Garm - if you send me a copy of the pdf - i may be able to tweak it down in size - I may be wrong on this but I think brJohn increased the filesize allocation (per file) to some 20mb here - double check with him - if this is so then you can upload it (where it will be safe) or let me 'tweak' it ie reduce file size without losing any content.

I believe you have my email address somewhere - if not (and if you cant upload to here) drop me pm and i'll let you know ye olde email addy

I am posting this file on behalf of Master Garm (who I also wish to thank for taking the time to send this to me via email).

Like him - if anyone wishes this to be emailed tot hem, simply send me a Private Message with an email address but be warned - as the file is 11mb - you cannot use MSN/Hotmail due to file size limits applied by the host server.

With this in mind I am currently working on reducing the file size without losing the content and when/if I manage to do this, I will post the file and announce a smaller version is available.

CLICK ME NOW

Once again the totjo server isnt playing fair on uploads so the file (until such other time) is hosted off site

PS I will post this file in a thread of its own somewhere too

Looks like an amazing piece of reference. I have not read through it yet, but from the looks of it it seems worth while. Very comprehensive: light- dark- shadow- independence- Force- stillness- worship- remembberance- combat- energy- magic- living. What more could a Jedi heart wish for? 1833 pages of enlightenment. Big thanks to Masters Garm and Rich for bringing that across to us.

Hmmm rather interesting thread here. We start off with Master Justice's post which I did find interesting the first time I read it about 5 months ago, to oaths, to belief, to potential contracts, and then to Jedi codes.

As to the orginial question: What do Sith believe?

Here is my answer to that. Only way you will learn is to find out for youself.

Sith teachings teach you to embrace the full fury of your emotions to bring order out of chaos and to strengthen your self, to allways push your self to gain the power and knowledge that others covet, to brake one to your will to truly furfill there destiny. That is a basic version of what true sith belive BUT although treturous the true Sith deem loyalty the higest quality and there fore must be won by those who wish it

Iam a member of the Sithist Cabal, and would suggest anyone interested in learning more visting the sithist cabal site and viewing any works written by Seti I Shadmin and salome to name but a few, the sithist or sith realsists as we are sometimes known have many debates on our path and i think many who are interested should take a look.

\"It matters not the road taken, but the journey as we all seek the same destination enlightenment/Nirvana\"-para phrased from a favourite quote of mine from Seti I Shadmin, anyway i hope this helps you're understanding
