Necromancy, very interesting category of the black arts is it not? For one to summon the dead from the past existence and ask for questions regarding the future or possible past events lost to history?

Hello people and folks of all walks of life! Now this topic is what I need to talk to you all about through I don’t know if this belongs here or in the Pagan rite page through both equally have a connection. For many years people have practice the art of necromancy (and sadly necrophilia followed >.und the face of the planet along side us. To invoke such things through deep meditations and channeling chants I wish to ask the question how does this relate to the aspects of the force or just life in general. How does this map the dead for us? Will we die just to remained onto this world and linger until judgment day or a more sinister existence awaits us? I ask for knowledge from those who have an Idea on this and may provide more answers to this question.

From pagan studies and few unmentionables the hold two functioning life energy. In death one departs into a world unknown and unseen by us while another one lingers in the body until destroy by a user or teacher of necromancy seeking answers or fully deterrents. Now this is an idea of death I learned from books I read over the occult (yes I know occult means ‘mystery’ but fits the bill) matters such as black arts, Green Magick (As much life ordinates from it but I know you all know this but just letting thoughts drop out here) and other resources. Necromancy is a form of alteration and also wants to ask that as well with this is a way to under it as well.

Just been bothering for a few days and thought I ask you all. Through Its is understood that the dead can see the past and future along with the present and that does offer and interesting idea but I say no more I wish to hear from you all on this matter. Thank you for your time to read this.

To all those that read this post, please be aware that my apprentice has shown curiosity and not meant for a spark of debate. I have spoken with Wander and he was only asking a question that needed clarifying. If anyone has or is offended by this post I do apologize, but one can not learn unless the question is asked. If any members have a issue with this post please contact me and not my apprentice.

Thank you and MTFBWY

Also as Necromancy is a form of Magick this post could have been placed in the pagan forum as i have previously posted numberous 'dark' aspect beliefs and magick topics there as well. I am not sure myself where this post could be place so a brief clarification would be nice

Also in reading this the thought of the Akashic field came to mind, it is possible to contact that dead, and this is called Necromancy. Now, the topic of where we go when we die has come up to many people of all religions in all times. The problem is none of us know. The reason the akashic field came to mind is the idea that the Akashic field holds all knowledge from all time including out personalities, so is it not possible to contact the dead threw this field but only as its 'shadow' so to say. what we really might be tapping into is the akashic field itself and that may be why so many people have had to much trouble. You are contacting a place where all things dwell, dark, light and in between. All things are still there, by tapping into it you may not be able to control what you see so it would be your own mind that brings the things you don't want to see to surface. This is what i believe. If the Force is what ebbs and flows in all things and times, and 'controls' or holds all life and death in its webs, then surely the akashic field would be its mind, it's data base. Now that you know this though, there may be problem for you as there is for me, should i ever be able to contact the dead (which i have no wish to do but that is neither here nor there) when that person is brought back will i actually be seeing the person or would i see the akashic field itself and be driven mad? these are trecherous topics we speak of here and must tread carefully.

Good luck in any works you wish to implore.

The 'Afterlife' is one of those great mysteries that the living will never know the answer too until they too are there.

Ghosts/Spirits etc etc... no doubt they exost, but what are they, or what is the energy that forms/creates them. Why is it that not everybody 'becomes a ghost' on death.
I dont quite go along with he idea of 'unhappy souls' ie the soul not going to 'heaven' for a start I dont believe in the 'soul' as such. Sure we all have energy, and this is what connects us to the force but a certain 'bit' of us that floats off somewhere... not for me im afraid.

But as I said, we all found out one day, so look at it like a birthday present, why spoil the surprise

A long time ago, there was a man, a better man than I - He was the son of a carpenter - the carpentry business was the death of him - the moral of the tale? Beware the furniture you gather and the crosses you bear.

\"To the educated mind death is but just another adventure.\" Trust in that.

I hate to sound like a Potter-fan, but it's actually \"to the well-organised mind\".

Your inital post Wander made me think of a quote from Yoda that I have been unable to play.

\"Beware when you look at the dark side, for the dark side looks back.\"

Anora, you're speaking of the Akasha, aren't you? Which is the fifth element as depected on the pentacle, also called the quintessence. I agree with a lot of what you say here about what can happen if you tap into this, as it can be like turning on a tap and getting a tsunami.

There are beings called 'discarnates' that sort of hang around in our world on a level where we can't see them. Some of them are the souls of people who for some reason haven't been able to go on, some are something else. People who use ouija boards (of which I DON'T recommend you do!) can communicate with these. They can follow you about and cause havoc, I have heard, but I haven't experience anything directly about this.

The best way I have found to communicate with the dead and not to have any adverse effects is to do it with love. Try and think about the people in your life you have loved whom you have lost and they will come to you. I did this one Samhain (after casting a few protections about myself) and it was a wonderful as well as slightly creepy experience.

alright did not really want to go here with this post so early, but my hand has been somewhat forced. In necromancy it deals with using the dead to do biddings. It is more along the lines of dark magick. However the shell that is used is just that a shell. The presence that is in the body only personifies the identity that was once there. It is not the return of the original personality that was there before death. This is something not to be trifled with nor used. As for ouija boards depending on what you are doing could be negative. But you must keep control. Once you lose control as you will do eventurally in dark magick would have consequences. This is just an excert of dark magick that I compiled for the library. Take a lesson from this and let it be.
\"The only difference is one is considered the left path of man most commonly associated with satanism. As with light there are covens and secrecy is of the upmost importance. One does not just fall into a coven especially with dark magick. You must know someone of the coven, pass tests, earn their way in, and then finally be invited. Once you have been invited you will be initaited and apart of the coven.

With all things you must read the fine print. Getting into the coven is the easy part as is with most things. Getting out well that is very hard to do and sometimes very costly.

The dangers of dark magick are relative. In goetic evocations you are dealing with spirits that work through people an their baser instincts. If you are not adaquately prepared, focused, these spirits will influence you and effect your thought processes and everyday life. Some may think this is a joke, but some of our members have seen it happen to others. Most of those effected don't even know or realize that they are doing it. If this is what one is seeking then that is very bad. One becomes obsessive about the darker persona of oneself, trying to understand that \"baser\" instinct that is buried subconsciously. At this point many reading this is saying \"that person is possessed.\" This could not be farther from the truth. You are not acting against your will, more correctly influenced into doing what you are doing. You can stop, but many choose not to, because of the lull of that power associated with what is going on. \"I felt so powerful as if I could do anything, I didn't want to stop doing what I was doing, it was intoxicating, almost like being high but so much more powerful than that.\" . This statement came from a person that was in this state for several months. It took them years to tell anyone about it afterwards, but as said magick comes with a price.

If one chooses to pursue this that is their business, TOTJO will not provide any information other than what is already here. However we will simply state this if one chooses to continue...

1) do not leave the circle or triangle at any point even if tempted to do so,

2) If you don't intend to keep your end of the bargin DO NOT MAKE THAT BARGAIN,

3) Never do more than you are ready for,

4) DO NOT TRY THIS AT HOME.\"

What was not added to the library aspect is thus the person above that made the statement of not wanting to stop was a friend of mine. I go and visit him once a year at Brookside Cemetary in Houston, Tx. As said above magick comes with a price that sometimes many are not ready to pay and can be costly.

And no offense on sharpness of this Katana, but the statement used before was a qoute I read in another book several years before JK Rowling wrote Harry Potter.

Meddeling with things that you can't control is something many people do, the Darkside as it were is meerely a point of view, but the consequences of every action, thought, and breath is something we all see.

When a butterfly flaps it's wings on the west coast you have a sunami in Japan, when a person in Australia falls out of bed you have an earth quake in California.

You shouldn't mingle in places that may lure you to think that you are in control but you never have control even when you have a firm grasp on your cars steering wheel you never have control things around you make tiny vibrations, eddies in the force that move you to small corrections in your hands and on the road.

I would suggest not delving in to the things that are of the \"darkside\" the consequences are never good for anyone, trust me I know!
