I misread... you said \"without\" using the name of Her Majesty.

Using her name, you would use her authority (with or without her consent).

Without user her name, you act on your own authority, unless you are authorized ahead of time and it's known that you often acted on Her Majesty's behalf. The question is one of whether or not you did; and if you didn't, then on whose authority would you be acting?

The answer is an easy one: your own.
