1. I believe in compassion
2. I believe in tolerance
3. I believe in helping people make the most of their lives
4. I believe in being happy and making others happy
5. I believe that we are best when we work together towards a common goal
6. I believe we should pursue our own goals and our own lives without being put down by what other people want
7. I believe that we should all be free to lives our lives as we wish (Do what makes you happy and harm none on the way)
Is that Sith enough for you?
Heh. I found this a funny rebuttal.
They remind me, in a way, of the ideals of Marcus Aurelius, my Stoic Teacher and Guide.
There is a flaw in this, though. But, only in semantics.
1. Compassion? Do you approach this with Comserenity?

2. Tolerance of what? Of yourself? Of your ideals?
3. Who decides what "most" means?
4. I hope you're talking about being Truly Happy as in accordance with the Buddhist Principles. Otherwise, I would assume you mean the normal definition of happy... which is... unhappy.
5. I agree here completely... only I hope the common goal isn't taking over the world. You didn't specify. I mean, that would be compassionate to the people working with you, and it would be tolerant of the people who help you, it would be the MOST thing possible you could probably do, and I bet ruling EVERYTHING would make you happy.
6. See 5. Taking over the world fits in here.
7. Would you act compassionately if I were to kill everything in my path? Would you force your way to stop me? Would you kill me?
I don't know. There are just a lot of holes in those ideals. They aren't worded well enough to communicate what you truly mean. And, with a little trying, I can make your words seem like you are a tyrant. But, with the same "accepted" belief, you could be the Savior.
This is how the world's greatest Dictators are born. They take advantage of words. Ideals, if they are Good and Pure, cannot then be PUT into words at all. Because, words are insufficient.
My point: Do not ever be loyal to something you can put into words. It can be taken from you.
