Generally yes. While it might not be officially for legal purposes, the Temple isn't able to have any merchandise (produced and distributed by third parties) with the word "Jedi" on it. We've tried and the stuff has just been taken down for infringement.

Ah thank you! I refuse to sell copywrited stuff anymore. I don't want to wander into any other infringement either. I'm not sure how I feel about selling anything with "Jedi" on it. It means something different to us than to Disney but still lol.

The name Jedi is a Hebrew baby name. In Hebrew the meaning of the name Jedi is: Beloved by God.

So basically star wars stole the name, trademarked it, and is going around issuing DMCA take-down notices to real Jedi. My son's middle name is Jedi. So I can't buy a name badge with his name on it because "star wars"? hmmm

I'm not saying you can't buy it I'm just not sure I'm comfortable making them to sell. My daughter's first name is from a character in a video game. I'll happily make things with her name on it, but I don't think I'd sell them.

Jedi is changed from the original spelling though isn't it?

I like the patch design but the colors would need to be black and olve or something like that. White is highly visible at night

Black and olive aren't ACU colors like you showed me. They're BDU. The patch is actually in the same grays found in subdued ACU patches.
